GenePlanet: tackling modern health issues with personalised prevention

How it works
GenePlanet’s Health Intelligence platform integrates biological data (DNA and blood test results) with information about customers’ habits and body measurements. Based on this input, it creates personalised action plans regarding nutrition, physical exercise, and stress management. Health Intelligence motivates customers to make positive behavioural changes through goal setting and gamification elements. It provides the tools to monitor progress and support customers as their current health state and health- and well-being goals evolve.

The process is simple and scalable; it starts with each customer receiving a DNA kit at their home address. They register on the Health Intelligence secure digital platform, return the sample and start their journey. Customers start with a lifestyle assessment, calculating their Health Score, based on their body measurements, habits, activities and blood test results. Combined with the genetic results this offers a range of insights into Diet, Heart Health, Metabolism and more. Based on these insights, customers will receive personalised recommendations to improve their health and well-being. 

Customers’ results, personalised action plans, and challenges with attractive awards are always within easy reach – on their computer or smartphone app. All data is managed according to ISO 27001.
With Health Intelligence, GenePlanet has created a solution ready for the digital age. It allows for on-going two-way communication, user monitoring and guidance. Health Intelligence goes beyond genetics, integrating other objective biomarkers, lifestyle assessment and data from wearables on the platform. This way, it can provide customers with comprehensive insight into all the lifestyle factors contributing to a healthy life.
