Swiss Life Network is dacadoo’s strategic partner in this. Swiss Life will support dacadoo’s web- and app-based platforms, designed to help insurance companies and organizations promote healthy behaviors in their customers and employees.

InsurTech Hub Munich launches novel initiative: “Collab”, connecting the network’s members with tech scaleups, boosting acceleration and collaboration.
The year 2020 will bring many new offerings to the ever-growing InsurTech Hub Munich (ITHM) network: the “Collab Innovation Initiative” being the first to be rolled out. The idea of the new offering is to connect ITHM’s members with tech scaleups that already have a successful product in the market and a proven track-record with leading corporate customers.

EMC Insurance Selects FRISS as Fraud Detection Partner
FRISS’ latest objective was entering the North American market, which they did successfully. The partnership with EMC Insurance Companies, a US property and casualty insurer, is a great result of that. EMC will take advantage of FRISS’ hybrid detection engine to automatically flag suspicious insurance claims, giving their team actionable insights to begin their investigations.

EasySend is on track to save 50,000 trees (and counting) by the end of 2020
Insurance is amongst the most paper-intensive industries. Financial services revolve around paperwork – but the digital era is calling for change. EasySend is a revolutionary smart eForm builder that helps financial institutions, banks, and insurance companies to go paperless and digitize core processes. Government of Zanzibar signs a partnership with PharmAccess to implement a new health financing strategy
PharmAccess Tanzania has announced a 5 years’ partnership agreement with the Ministry of Health of the Government of Zanzibar. The agreement signifies the start of a cooperation between the two parties, in which PharmAccess supports the rollout of universal healthcare (UHC) in Zanzibar, with a specific focus on low-income and vulnerable groups. In line with the PharmAccess approach, digitalization will play a large role in the process that also facilitates collecting more data on healthcare performance.

Slice and SOMPO Release First On-Demand Insurance Product in Asia on ICS
DIA alumni Slice Labs and insurer Sompo have released an enhanced version of the travel insurance product, TravelJoy, in Thailand. Using the LINE platform they make on-demand trip protection services available to 44 million LINE users in the country. “This is the type of ecosystem example where advanced financial services, payments, and insurance products are setting a global example for how to reinvent customer experiences,” said Tim Attia, CEO of Slice Labs.
